Under general direction of the Associate Superintendent, Business Services, the Director of Fiscal Services plans, coordinates, supervises and administers the financial operations of the District, including accounting, budgeting and payroll; assures compliance with policies, practices and procedures.
Education: Graduation from an accredited college/university with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License is highly desirable
Experience: Five years of experience in finance or accounting work including at least three years in a management/supervisory position involving policy development, budget preparation, and personnel management.
Other Requirements:
Possession of a valid California Class C Driver License.
Evidence of adequate insurance for a motor vehicle, which meets or exceeds the California legal liability insurance requirement and continues to maintain insurability.
