The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual who can bring proven managerial techniques and professional experience to the district. Under general direction plan, organize, and administer District accounting and attendance operations; establish adequate procedures and controls for the effective operation and security of these functions; assume a major responsibility for the development and control of the budget; communicate with county and State administrators, auditors, and others regarding fiscal services; assist the Executive Director of Fiscal Services in a variety of functions relating to the over-all district financial operations. This is a management position.

Graduation with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, business administration, or a related field and varied and progressive professional-level accounting experience and training with emphasis on school budget development, program accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial analysis, financial reporting, and student attendance accounting. School district professional-level accounting experience is preferred. Supervisory level experience or training is highly desirable.
