Under the direction of the Administrative Director II, Facilities Development, prepare and manage long and short-range facility plans involving the major repairs, alteration and construction needs of the District; coordinate and review cost estimates, documents and reports involved in facility planning and project management; serve as a liaison between the District and agencies, contractors, professional service firms contracted by the District.
Any combination equivalent to: Bachelor of Art's degree with emphasis in architecture, engineering or closely related field and three (3) years of experience in architecture, engineering projects, business, administration, budgeting, data processing, planning and task supervision in an institutional or school environment with experience and familiarity with California Division of State Architect.
Newport-Mesa Unified School District (District) is one of California's community funded (basic aid) districts, with a general fund budget of approximately $235 million. The District includes nearly 59 square miles and is comprised of the cities of Costa Mesa and Newport Beach, California. Located on the beautiful Southern California coast, in Orange County, the District is within 40 miles of Los Angeles to the northwest and within 90 miles of San Diego to the south.
