Under the direction of the Chief Administrative Officer, directs planning, development, implementation, internal auditing and financial management of the fiscal services department for a K-12 School District; supervises, trains and evaluates the performance of assigned personnel. This position serves as principal liaison with Los Angeles County Office of Education; California Department of Education; Internal Revenue Service; and other intergovernmental agencies as the district's primary source of contact on accounting and budget reports.
Graduation from an accredited college or university, with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, business (with an emphasis in accounting) or a related field.
Four (4) years of increasingly responsible business management experience, including two years of management experience in an educational entity with responsibility for accounting, budgeting, and/ or auditing.
Compton Unified School District, whose Superintendent is Dr. Darin Brawley, is located in in the south-central region of Los Angeles County, California.
