Salary Details:
This is a full-time 12-month position. A 7% raise is pending Board Approval.

Under the direction of the Administrative Director II, Maintenance and Operations or designee, plan, organize and direct the activities, personnel and operations of an assigned division of the Maintenance and Operations Department; receive, review and assign work orders and material requisitions; plan, organize and supervise the maintenance of school buildings and facilities; train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.
Any combination equivalent to: Associate degree or two years of college level coursework with major coursework in the field of business or public administration or closely related to the scope of responsibilities and four years recent increasingly responsible journey-level experience in a related building trade, preferably in a public agency, including at least two years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
Newport-Mesa Unified School District (District) is one of California's community funded (basic aid) districts, with a general fund budget of approximately $235 million. The District includes nearly 59 square miles and is comprised of the cities of Costa Mesa and Newport Beach, California. Located on the beautiful Southern California coast, in Orange County, the District is within 40 miles of Los Angeles to the northwest and within 90 miles of San Diego to the south. The District student enrollment is approximately 19,000, includes thirty-two schools and employs over 3,200 certificated and classified employees.
