DEFINITION Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, the Risk Manager oversees the daily operations of the Risk Management and Safety Response. This includes supervising staff and coordinating various safety programs, such as workers' compensation, injury and illness prevention, and property and liability. The Risk Manager also collaborates with all departments and school sites within the District, and supports student and employee safety programs by providing educational and awareness programs, managing insurance programs and emergency preparedness plans.
