Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Business Support Services and the Director of Purchasing Services, the Contract Analyst performs highly specialized and complex analytical and technical work involving the negotiating, research, development, managing of legal contracts, and larger procurement projects. The Contract Analyst is also responsible for handling all details to ensure contracts are appropriately processed and maintained.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Education Required: An Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field. Bachelor’s Degree in contract management, public administration, business administration or a related field preferred.
Experience Required: A minimum of 2 years of recent technical experience in vendor contract research, development, management or negotiations and experience involving the writing of specifications and the processing of contracts, leases, Public Works bid thresholds or public contract code, real estate and purchasing documents.
Licenses, Certifications, Bonding and/or Testing Required: Valid CA Driver’s License and evidence of insurability; Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance; Negative pre-employment drug screen test; Negative TB results.
Lake Elsinore Unified School District (LEUSD) boundaries stretch over 144 square miles through Southwest Riverside County, serving families in Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, and Wildomar, and several unincorporated Riverside County communities, including Lakeland Village and Horsethief Canyon.
Our earliest schools began serving the valley during the 1880s, a few years before the City of Lake Elsinore's incorporation (1888). In 1988, Elsinore Union High School District unified with the Elsinore Elementary District (K-8) to form LEUSD. Over 140 years later, the legacy of education at LEUSD continues serving over 21 000 TK- 12th-grade students district at 25 schools, including alternative education programs.

Measure V ...is a $105 million bond to support facilities and improvements, technology to support innovative instruction, new classroom construction, school safety, campus security enhancements, renovations to playfields, athletics, performing arts, and music, and improving energy efficiency district wide.
