Under the direction of the Division Director, performs a wide variety of complex and difficult finance, accounting, and budgeting duties. Provides assistance in the preparation and maintenance of budgets, position control, financial reports and accounting records, including for direct service school districts, Audits and monitors a variety of business processes and documents. Provides assistance in monitoring fiscal solvency of school districts, oversight of certain charter schools authorized by the county board of education, and financial system support. Exercises independent judgment and problem- solving skills in relation to assigned areas of responsibility. Does related work as required.
Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Experience of an extraordinarily related nature may be substituted for degree requirements.
