The Burlingame School District (District) is seeking a Chief Business Official.
Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Chief Business Official will provide leadership in planning, supervising, and directing the support and administration programs of the District's Business Services Department along with providing support and administration of the programs of the District. Responsibilities include personnel evaluation, planning, budgeting, and managing all aspects of the financial programs in the District.
The District currently serves 3,396 students in six elementary schools and one middle school. The District has a General Fund budget of approximately $42 million. The District also enjoys generous support from the community with the passage of Measure O (a $92 million General Obligation Bond), parcel taxes, and the Burlingame Community for Education Foundation (BCE).

The successful candidate will have:
A four-year degree in business, finance, accounting or related field
Chief Business Official Certificate from the California Association of School Business Officials or other recognized professional organization or university/college desired
Evidence of progressively responsible management experience in business services, including management experience in budgeting and accounting operations preferably in a public-school district
Additional Salary Information: In addition to the salary, a cell phone stipend and benefits package are also offered.
