Under the direction of the Director, Risk Management, plan, organize and manage the district’s health and welfare benefit plans; participate in reviewing, selecting and negotiating benefit plans, vendors and providers; oversee and respond to inquiries from employees, dependents, retirees and providers pertaining to benefits; plan, organize, implement and review the claims process; serve as a technical resource to the Joint Benefits Team; plan, organize and manage the employee benefit open enrollment process; supervise, train and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.
Any combination equivalent to: bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, risk management, human resources management or a closely related field and five years recent increasingly responsible experience in administering employee health benefits, preferably in a public school district, including two years in a supervisory capacity.
