Location: District Office - Transportation Department
Education and Experience:
• Ten (10) years of full-time experience as a bus driver that requires a current Class B Driver License with passenger endorsement; current and valid California Special Driver’s Certificate (DL 45) with appropriate endorsements for the transporting of passengers in grades preschool through 8, including a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DL 51) and seven (7) successful years as a School Bus Driver Instructor issued by California Department of Education.
• Graduation from high school or evidence of equivalent educational proficiency (G.E.D).
• Supplemental classroom and in-service training in the areas of school transportation.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

About Adelanto Elementary School District
The Adelanto Elementary School District has approximately 8,400 students in grades TK-8. We have 15 schools in the District and serve students from the cities of Adelanto and Victorville. Our schools are comprised of nine Elementary Schools serving TK/K-5th grade students, three Middle Schools serving 6-8th grade students, two schools serving K-8th grade students, and one alternative education school serving 4-8th grade students.
