Supervisory or Clerical – Accounting, Supervisory or Clerical – Facilities
Under the direction of the Senior Director of Facilities, Planning & Construction Services or designee, perform a wide range of complex duties related to planning and coordinating the improvement, remodeling, and new construction of District facilities; supervise the development and implementation of the District’s Facilities Master Plan; oversee and coordinate District new construction and modernization projects from inception to completion; supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel; perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION INCLUDE:
Any combination equivalent to: bachelor’s degree in planning, facilities management, construction management, architecture, or related field and five years increasingly responsible supervisory experience.
Valid Class C CA driver’s license and the ability to maintain insurability under the District’s Vehicle Insurance Policy.
Knowledge of procedures and practices used in planning, design, construction, modernization and maintenance of school buildings and facilities and school district organizations, operation, policies and objectives.
Knowledge of applicable state, federal and local laws, codes and regulations governing school districts’ facilities planning and construction.
Knowledge of general background on hazardous material management.
Knowledge of standard software for facilities and planning, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheets, CAD programs, project scheduling, and project management.
Ability to utilize a variety of advisory data information such as budgets, plans, ordinances, environmental guidelines, personnel guidebook, maps, technical operating manuals, statues, procedures, guidelines, non-routine correspondence and engineering manuals.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Additional Salary Information: Previous years of CALPERS or STRS Service accepted for longevity placement.
